Ecuador Licaceo
Coffee overview
Edit 2/19/24- This coffee was incorrectly attributed to Hacienda La Papaya (the farm), while it actually traces to a village called La Papaya. The producer was incorrectly attributed to Juan Peña, while the actual producer is Angel Sanchez. Apologies for this error!
An overwhelming intensity awaits in this washed Sidra from Licaceo. Producer Angel Sanchez has created a lot full of punctuating acidities sure to please those who seek the brightest tropical profiles.
Coffee flavor profile
Mango, watermelon, lemon drop.
Acidity: intense
Sweetness: juicy, tropical
Body: candied
Recommended brewing
Filter: The Gabi 'standard' recipe of 1:18 provides plenty of flavor separation, however, we also enjoy lower ratios that lean into the punchiness of this coffee.
We use 60 hardness, 20 buffer water heated to 198F in all of our recipes.
