HIGH PLAINS COFFEE
From its origins in the soil to the finished cup, we have a deep seeded love of coffee. Located at 7,200ft in the great plains of Wyoming, we roast smooth, sweet and accessible coffee blends enjoyable by everyone as well as intriguing single origins that challenge and excite your palate.
We place a great deal of focus on sourcing coffees based not only on their quality in the cup, but also on the quality of life that every worker receives during a coffee's long journey from the origin to our roastery. Labor is important. We pledge that every coffee we offer has been vetted to ensure the best working conditions that we can hope for in any given origin.
OUR ROASTING PHILOSOPHY
Our single origin offerings are roasted to bring out the best of their inherent flavors. Most of our single origins are very-light to medium roasts. Expect exotic flavors, intense acidity, stunning sweetness, floral complexity, and similar flavors from these coffees.
Our blended offerings, on the other hand, are created with a specific flavor or roast profile in mind. Most blends start at a medium-roast and go darker. Expect balanced, chocolatey, bold, syrupy, rich, smooth, and similar flavors from these coffees.
We roast Friday-Tuesday.
Orders are processed on Wednesday.
Orders are shipped on Thursday.
Your shipping date will depend on when you placed your order. Generally the cut-off is Tuesday at midnight. Occasionally we will add an extra day of shipping during the week, but this is not guaranteed.
