Ethiopia Chelchele
Coffee overview
A very small amount of this lot is available after the subscription run. This white honey field blend is intense, punchy, and floral. It's quite a bit louder than other Ethiopian releases this season, save perhaps the Rumudamo anaerobic washed, but also presents its sweetness in a very heavy fashion. It has a thick and coating mouthfeel, laden with sweetness, and finishes with a familiar lavender note with plenty of linger. Quite a fun one to close Ethiopia season.

Brewing evaluation
Rest: 25+ days recommended
Filter eval day 1: Gabi Standard Recipe of 1:18 - Syrupy sweetness dominant, with tart dark fruits up top and sensational lavender on the finish. Lots of sweet stonefruit in the middle. Slightly sweet dominant but with the tartness of the acidity it brings balance. Lingering finish.
