Colombia El Placer Gesha
Coffee overview
Sebastian Ramirez is a 4th generation coffee farmer who is a mentor for Unblended's young producer program. He is a processing innovator who passes his knowledge down to younger farmers, bringing much needed viability for young farmers in Colombia. His techniques on this lot have produced possibly the most floral coffee we have ever come across. Expect a pungent display of floral character from fragrance to aroma to cup with this stunning Gesha. Light fruited notes such as tangerine or plum compliment this heavy floral character.

Brewing evaluation
Rest: 35+ days recommended
Filter eval day 1: Gabi Standard Recipe of 1:18 shows a hugely aromatic cup with floral attributes throughout. While we often find floral character namely in the finish of a coffee, this cup offers it from the start.
We use 60 hardness, 20 buffer water heated to 198F in all of our recipes.
