Colombia El Sendero
Coffee overview
Andrés Martinez is a graduating member of Unblended's Young Producer Program, coming in with a degree in biochemical engineering. He has previously worked for the wizard Diego Bermudez, conducting soil studies and process standardization at Finca El Paraiso. Upon joining Unblended's Young Producer Program, he worked alongside and learned from Sebastian Ramirez, and took all of this knowledge to producing one of the top lots we've encountered this year in this stunning double fermented Gesha. We are thrilled to release this coffee as our last of this year. It is a testament to what dedication to learning and growth can yield, and what a new generation of coffee farmers in Colombia are capable of. This coffee is not to be missed.

Sweetness: juicy
Body: heavily floral
Brewing evaluation
Rest: 30+ days recommended
Filter eval day 1: Gabi Standard Recipe of 1:18 shows a superbly floral cup, loaded with fragrance. Some tropical and citrus fruits punctuate, but the cup is overwhelmingly floral. Can't wait to taste this with additional rest.
We use 60 hardness, 20 buffer water heated to 198F in all of our recipes.
