Peru El Cerro
Coffee overview
A superbly well processed Gesha from producer Efrain Carhuallocllo's famed El Cerro plot. Efrain grows just two varieties: Yellow Caturra and Gesha. He is considered one of Peru's top producers, and his deliberate work shows in this stunning offering. Expect vast complexity in the cup, notes that intertwine with each other while bouncing off the hallmark Peru terroir. A very light extended ferment on this lot just punches up the tropical acidity, but leaves plenty of florality and spiced notes to explore. A real beauty.
