Colombia José Giraldo Rio Dulce
Coffee overview
A wonderful set of coffees from producer José Giraldo's Las Marias estate. Same producer, estate, and variety; different plots and processing.
This plot is Rio Dulce, a Green-tip Gesha planting which was double washed. It offers superlative clarity in the cup, and we think is the cleanest cup we have put on the menu this year. Expect exceptional clarity and well-defined character. It is also a bit softer and shows a bit more tropical complexity compared to its partner lot. Florals abound with incredible definition and complexity. A very beautiful coffee.
