Ethiopia Hamasho Borena
Coffee overview
An elegant and beautiful lot from Daye Bensa, Hamasho Borena offers high complexity in a very clean, smooth format. Where complexity often accompanies texture or structure in a cup, this coffee offers a very different experience. Much less texture is present for the heaviness of the sweetness here, notes are smooth and glassy, notes are floating around in space waiting for you to discover them.
Coffee flavor profile
White strawberry, peach, bergamot.
Acidity: refreshing, comfortable
Sweetness: heavy, syrupy
Balance: excellent, perfumey
Finish: lingering citrus, stonefruit and floral
