One of our longest tenured year-over-year purchases is this staple lot from Ernedis Rodriguez and his farm, Finca El Paraiso. A field blend consisting mostly of Caturra, but also including Sidra and Chiroso, Ernedis has once again produced a juicy and sweet lot which exemplifies Colombian coffee. This year, we are finding a cup dominated by citrus fruits, with excellent intensity and the typical clean character we've come to rely on from Ernedis. A consistently high-bar offering from one of our favorite producers.
Colombia La Esperanza Brayan 2025

Brayan Joven is a new-to-us producer; while we encountered his coffees before, this is the first year purchasing his renowned Pink Bourbon lot. The exceptional processing on this coffee has yielded a set of notes including some complex florality and tea-like nuances that compliment an upfront stonefruit acidity. This lot is not as punchy or intense as previous Pink Bourbons but offers a dynamic complexity that makes this Pink Bourbon very unique.
Ecuador La Papaya Gesha 2025

Here it is, folks. The return of one of our absolute best from 2024. Juan Peña's Gesha lot offers an astounding florality, layer upon layer, with an upfront candied tropicality. A beautiful cup, highly complex, and highly floral.
Ecuador La Papaya Sidra 2025

Next up in our La Papaya release for this year is perhaps the most fun. This 120 hour anaerobic washed Sidra offers a plethora of juicy and tropical flavors, along with the hallmark clean character of La Papaya (as much as it can be for this process). This cup is loud and intense!

Sebastian Ramirez is a 4th generation coffee farmer who is a mentor for Unblended's young producer program. He is a processing innovator who passes his knowledge down to younger farmers, bringing much needed viability for young farmers in Colombia. His techniques on this lot have produced possibly the most floral coffee we have ever come across. Expect a pungent display of floral character from fragrance to aroma to cup with this stunning Gesha. Light fruited notes such as tangerine or plum compliment this heavy floral character.
